Sightseeing

Windsor Castle itself is just over 2 miles away and the majority of the route from Benet House includes an off road cycle path alongside Albert Road (A308). It offers a huge amount of history and spectacular views both of the castle and from the castle. It is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years, and is currently the main home of the Queen and Prince Philip, and within the grounds The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The park has been here since 13th century. It has a wealth of history. William I used to hunt here and Queen Victoria entertained on the shores of Virginia Water. Trees over 1,000 years old and the many deer are just 2 of the sights to enjoy.
