Beautiful walks in the park and along the beach. You can do loop at low tide from Torrey Pines to Scripps Pier at La Jolla Shores if you leave a car in one spot and take the bus to the start. About 5 miles - a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon but check the tides!

Or just walk around the village and the surrounding residential areas - great old homes - more retired admirals per square mile than anywhere else!
