Station is right across apartment entrance. 25 cents per person (half fare for seniors and school-aged kids). Might be a bit overcrowded, specially at peak hours

Uber is the safest way around
Download and use the Uber app for convenience. Prices are very affordable here with Uber. Drivers will alway request one passenger to ride upfront. Double check that the car and driver that picks you up, matches the app. If not cancel and get another one. Uber should issue a refund of those cancellation costs
