This is the home of paella, surely the most famous Spanish dish of all. There are also ultra-modern visitor attractions at the City of the Arts and Sciences. All this makes Valencia one of Spain’s most complete destinations.

My Neighbourhood

Welcome to my neighborhood! Located a short distance from the coast, in the heart of Valencia, Amistad is the fashionable district of Valencia city, combining much of the city's student life with a wide range of restaurants that are in favourable locations. Behind my building, you will find Plaza del Cedro, one of the most popular squares in the city for enjoying live music featuring numerous local bands. This area is also famous for its many tapas bars, which are of such importance that they each have their own gastronomic route. Near the Blasco Ibáñez Avenue, 5min walking from my place, there is the Xúquer Plaza, with a lively and bustling nightlife and many pubs, nightclubs and a wide variety of restaurants offering foods from India, Morocco and Japan, as well as the essentially typical Valencian cuisine. The most avant-garde dishes also find their place in this cosmopolitan neighbourhood. Students in particular, love this part of the city for obvious reasons. Perpendicularly crossing the Blasco Ibáñez Avenue, Doctor Manuel Candela Street serves as a link between the university and Ciudad de las Ciencias. It is one of the most important streets in Valencia where numerous businesses provide people with any items they need. Enjoy!
