there are so many parks in portland you can't keep up. but peninsula is something else. it feels like the 19th century here. you half expect a mustachioed gentleman to ride by on a penny farthing.

there's a big shoe sculpture that people like to have their photo taken in front of. it's an 80s shell top so I can't begrudge them.

The Alibi Tiki Lounge
4024 N Interstate Aveit's a tiki bar and it's forever 1956.
I don't recommend prost actually. really avoid it. but it is the gateway to the mississippi neighborhood. one of the nicest walking areas in town. great shops and great restaurants. except for prost.
