My place has been awarded a 4* rating by the Annecy tourist board. It is close to restaurants and dining, the beach, all the available activities, nightlife, and public transport. You’ll love my place because of the location, the outdoors space, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, families (with kids), groups, and furry friends (pets).

Die Unterkunft
The property is a detached modern 4 bedroom house, with a pool.

The main lounge is open and south facing with views of Lake Annecy and the surrounding mountains. UK free to air channels can be viewed & there is unlimited use of broadband at no extra cost.

There is a 2nd sitting room with tv, dvd player and sterio system which offers further views of the mountains.

The kitchen & utility are fully stocked including a dishwasher, 2 high chairs, children's cutlery & plates, washing machine, dryer & iron.

There is a family bathroom with WC, an ensuite shower room with WC and a separate WC.

Bed linen & bath towels are provided as well as 2 cots & bed guards at no extra cost

The terrace is south facing with loungers, dining table and a BBQ. The garden is large & fully enclosed offering privacy without loss of the sunshine. There are gates to the drive and space for two to three cars.

The pool has a roof that can slide back fully and inflatables are provided to add to the fun for all ages. It is heated from the end of May to the beginning of September but can be heated at other times of the year upon an additional payment.

The playroom has a full size table tennis table, dart board, various games & toys.

There are 2 adult bikes at the house and further bikes can be rented nearby - including pull-along carriages. Picnic equipment & garden games are also available.

There are a variety of restaurants within easy walking distance from the house, some offering a takeaway option.

There are a number of supermarkets close to the house as well as boulangeries and butchers.

The ferry around the lake departs from the jetty just down from the house, as do the local buses.

The nearby beach offers fantastic views up the lake and is bordered by a nature reserve with boardwalks so that it can be enjoyed by all ages. In the summer it provides wake boarding, waterskiing, pedallos, paddle boards, sailing and windsurfing. There is a pontoon just out from the beach and all under the watchful eye of the lifeguards. There are also toilets and a family run restaurant and snack bar.

There are many activities in the area including canyoning, waterskiing, wake boarding, horse riding, quad biking, paragliding, tennis, rock climbing, hire-wire tree top trails, cycling and we will be happy to provide details before your trip.

Annecy really is a beautiful town, known as the Venice of the Alps, and is well worth a visit whether for the historic buildings, parks, canals, markets, shops, beaches and entertainment or simply to enjoy a meal and glass of wine in the canalside restaurants.

There are Golf Clubs At Giez (15mins) and Talloires(30mins)The club at Giez is open to non-members and has an 18 hole course and seperate 9 hole course too. The course and it's restaurant provide spectacular views of Mont Blanc. There is also one at the village of Talloires, 30 minutes away and is open to non-members, though booking is recommended. This is positioned in a national park providing great views of the lake and mountains.

There are a number of ski resorts within easy reach - La Clusaz is about 45 minutes away and Meribel, Val Thorens and Megeve about 1 hour away. Chamonix is about 1.5 hours away. All the resorts provides great entertainment in the summer including a luge, mountain biking and walking trails and children's activities parks.

A booklet on the area is sent to clients on final reservation and a further book containing details of the town can be found at the house.

There is a security deposit to the equivalent of £500 due on arrival. This will be returned once the property has been cleaned.

The property has been awarded 4* by the Union Departmental des Offices de Tourisme and so there is an additional charge of €1:30 per adult per night. I ask clients to confirm the nights to which this will apply and will use this declaration to support the onward submission and remittance to the local Commune
