Our stay at this apartment was great! It is not only in a great location but the apartment itself is neat and tidy. Stuart was very accessible via email during our stay although we had no issues to report. I would highly recommend staying at this apartment if you are looking for a great spot in New York City! Thank you Stuart!
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
great location. clean and spacious.
Stuart is an amazing host, the unit we were looking at was booked so he offered another one for the same price. This was a massive deal we essentially got a space that was double the size and quality. I will be contacting Stuart in the future!
If you find your self in New York and need a place to stay, Stuart is your host!
Reliable and willing to answer any question, he made my last stay in New York a great one.
I'll trust Stuart in any way needed and hopefully will have the pleasure to stay in his place on my next trip.
Stuart was a great host! The apartment was fantastic. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The keys were waiting for us at the front desk when we arrived and the entire experience could not have gone any more smoothly. I'll never stay in a NYC hotel again.
Thank you, Stuart, for ensuring our pleasant stay in NYC. The unit we stayed in was actually on the 9th floor of this building and it was spacious, clean, well-appointed and everything we had hoped for during our stay. As a previous Airbnb user in NYC, I very much appreciated the little details that our host had already taken care of, like liquid hand soap and lotion in the bathroom. Contrary to previous reviews, the WiFi worked, as well. Leading up to and during our stay, Stuart was always responsive and courteous over email. Highly recommended. Thanks again.
A nice location between 6th and 7th on 21st not as shown (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) map. Handy for pretty much most of midtown and not too far from central for a walk or right down to Battery Park as well. The picture on Air BnB is a wow, however at first hand its let down by some very poor workmanship finishing and some kitsch gay iconography which may offend some bookers. A few additional items would have tipped this into a four star, a decent cleaner needs to be hired, some additional bits and bobs crockery wise would also help. There is a small ipod radio alarm clock dock but no other music player. The internet is not wireless but thats not a great issue. Average at the price, could be great. Booker gave us a 1pm check out time when booking but requested we were out by noon for his next guests, so check and confirm this prior to booking. Overall, nice place.
Overall, a great experience, and Stuart was very responsive over email. It's a beautifully, well-maintained apartment right between Chelsea and Flatiron districts.
1. A/C was not very powerful, so it got pretty hot up on the 9th floor (80-90 degrees in NY this May 2010)
2. Only wired Ethernet connection (no wifi). This might be fixed in the near future, but I was left with a single short wire to connect to my computer.
Other side notes:
1. Great water pressure in the shower
2. Hot water works just fine
3. Utensils, plates and cups all readily available
4. Minimal street/neighbor noise
