We love traveling, hosting & meeting interesting people along the
This home was a great place to stay while we were in LA for a week. Jen was very helpful in getting us set up and situated. The previous renters misplaced the welcome book, but she provided us with the basic info to get going. Check-in was a breeze. As far as the house goes, it is well kept and unique. There are plenty of dishes, utensils, and cookware to get by. The house is hugged by trees and landscaping and along with that comes a few insects, but nothing too bad.
I would advise packing your own toiletries (i.e. shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.) since there were none in the house for our use. The location can be a bit tricky for drivers if you are being picked up, but it's tucked away up in the hill with very little through traffic.
All in all, I would definitely stay in the house again. We had a perfect time.
Making Changes to the apartment, such as painting the bath and changing the outdoor furniture to new ones.
Jen's property was really well done. She was super nice and allowed us to check in early and responded quickly with any questions. She had a ton of towels and linens and we really enjoyed the patios. I'd def stay here again.
We had a blast! Jen was a very courteous host and that made our stay very comfortable. The house is really unique and has a lot of amazing characteristics, and we love the location. Would definitely recommend this place.
This was an ideal spot for an extended stay. The room is cozy, the kitchenette is well equipped including a mini fridge large enough to accommodate groceries, and the property is gated, private and safe.
Also, the pictures don't do it justice.
It's just off Laurel Canyon so it's a quick drive to either Hollywood or Studio City, and very near a great hiking spot. I hope to stay here again.
Thanks Charlie for taking such good care of the place! Hopefully we can have better communication next time!
Jen is a great host that is easy to communicate with. I was blown away with how beautiful and cozy the house is. It's in the best location as well. Found it rather hard to pack our things and leave.
Come back and visit! We love hosting guests who appreciate the tree house like you do!
We adored everything about staying at this wonderful property. The view was a lovely way to wake up and sip coffee in the morning. The host provided a welcome basket filled with coffee, tea and snacks. There is a handy notebook that contains all the information you need about the house and enjoying the area. We explored as much as we could and loved many of the restaurants and destinations. But leaving the property wasn't easy! It's cozy and just hanging out on the couch watching a movie or napping on the comfy beds proved to be exactly the relaxation we sought. Thank you Jen ( sorry I forgot to run the dishwasher or empty the freezer before we ran out the door to catch our flight- it hit me at the airport!) in the hills! One of the best properties hav
We had a wonderful 2 night stay with Jen and Andy who were extremely accommodating considering it was a last minute booking. They allowed us to check in late on our first night with very little notice.
The cottage was adorable and cozy. The bed was super comfortable. The cottage felt very private and the hosts and their children were very respectful of our privacy.
Would definitely stay there again when next in LA. Thank you!
We enjoyed hosting you ... come back again next time through!
This was my first Airbnb experience and it was fantastic! If you like what you see in the photos then you will love this place even more. The hosts set me at ease and were super helpful. The location is near Studio City in an upscale neighborhood in Laurel canyon and is convenient to really everything.
The bungalow itself is secluded and has everything you could need. There is a comfy sitting area with great couch to watch a large screen cable television or enjoy looking out the large windows. Seats 3 comfortably.
The combined kitchen/eating area has an island with 2 barstools. For cooking you have a microwave, toaster oven and hot plate. There is a brand new coffee maker and tea kettle. There is a full size fridge and the hosts even furnished a full bag of ice! You will have access to plenty of dishes and silverware/utensils and thoughtful extras such as Tupperware and foil. The bathroom is very tastefully appointed with a sophisticated yet rustic theme complete with a claw foot tub, big fluffy towels and soap. The toilet is unique in that it is composting...very Eco- California.
The bedroom is "soothing" (just what I needed) with comfortable bed and large screen cable tv. I rarely sleep well in hotels but I slept very well!
The outside area is very nice and secluded with access to a covered patio with gas grill and utensils and special touches such as charming decorative twinkle lights at night. In the back there are two lounge chairs.
A bonus if you are a dog lover you might be visited by their sweet dog. But if you aren't inclined don't worry...sal will pass you by. If you have pets that travel this would be a really cool place for your dog...lots of room to run and explore.
I can't recommend this place enough and I feel fortunate to have met such great people as Jen and Andy. I would certainly stay again if it was available! It was a fantastic stay and has made me an Airbnb convert.
Great decision to not stay in a hotel in LA...This house was great. Charming and clean...Spacious and a nice location for everything we needed to access while we were there. Jen was an excellent host. Very responsive and courteous to our needs. For the price, it's a bargain when staying in LA.
Pleasure to host would welcome back anytime. Thank you !
This cool couple could only spend one night...but I couldn't think of a better one nighter! I know they are hosts on airbnb, and hosts can make the best guests! I hope they come back.
Andy and his family are wonderful guests! We hope you'll stay with us again very soon.
