Do you want to chill with a cocktail in hands with feet in the sand? This place has multiple bars and restaurants and just located alongside the big cannal. So you will feel like you are by the beach with the music, water, beach chairs, and soft sands in your toes. Biking there is very easy as there's a bike lane along the canal. Make sure to go there only when it's warm and sunny.

At Waagnatie there's a summer cocktail bar called Bocadero, right at the river Schelde. Here you can get into summer mood having and apero enjoying a river view. There are some popup restaurants and quick bite options here as well. Opens from half of May during the whole summer. The location of this place right next to the river is the ideal spot to often experience a most beautiful & romantic, bright orange sunset on a nice day.
