Sunset Beach is also famous for the concrete ship of SS Atlantus which has been "grounded" at Cape May Point since 1926. Sunset Beach has amazing sunsets! Pack a picnic lunch or dinner, or grab a bite at The Grill. Search for Cape May diamonds or visit the gift shop. Be sure to check out the selection of crystals while there or enjoy some mini golf and ice cream! At the junction of the bay and ocean, the tides are not ideal for swimming. Surf fishing and photography are better choices for this area.

Another great sunset spot. They also have a mini golf course, some shops, and ice cream stand. Make an evening out of it :)

In addition to watching the sunrise over Wildwood beach, you can also travel to Cape May to watch the sunset. Sunset Beach is less than a 30 minute drive away, though parking is limited on Sunset Boulevard so some arrive early or be prepared to walk. Don’t forget to stop by the gift stop on your way home!
