Beautiful day-use beach with lifeguards, picnic tables, and nice facilities. There is an extensive hiking trail network across from the beach. Trailheads for various trails can be found along Sycamore Canyon Road which starts across Pacific Coast Highway from the beach parking area. This is the gateway into the Boney Mountain State Wilderness Area at the north end of the Santa Monica Mountains.

This is a beautiful park and with relatively easy hike/jog. It is dog friendly (must be on a leash) and in the winter/early spring there is a waterfall at the end. On the weekends it can get pretty busy but during the week it is mostly calm and peaceful. Either way, it is always a beautiful hike!

Beautiful beach, nice local spot to relax. Fire pits to stay warm, picnic tables and BBQ grills available. Moon rise to the left, sunset to the right, great for a day with the family.
