Rural Rootz is a unique experience, Gardens flourishing in the middle of a wooded wonderland. 7 km. of varied hiking trails to explore, Quiet solace, Two labyrinths to walk, and Dragons awaiting discovery.

This shorter side trail of the Bruce Trail is located mid-way across the skinniest section of the Peninsula, between Wiarton and Oliphant. The shop is very unique, and worth a visit for the quirky among you when it is open. Otherwise, enjoy a hike around this looped trail that takes you through interesting karst topography features, a beaver pond, a view over a local quarry, and into some deciduous forest. Nearer the parking lot there are little treasures for the young and young at heart to spot!

Our hundred acre nature reserve is a haven for Nature lovers and Spiritual Seekers. There are 2 labyrinths, Spirit Walk, a Sound Garden, a Zen Garden, gift shop and a Tree House for guest accommodations. Classes and sessions. Entry to gardens by donation.
