If you reach the old chapel you can continue by foot to one small path that will lead to one of my favourite beaches. It’s called krioneri the reason is because fresh water comes down from the mountain straight into the sea. When you walk on the beach you can feel it cold on your feet.

Agios Ioannis Antzoussis, situated 3 km west of Lefkada Town, this is the oldest church on the island. It was built by the Franks on the top of a rock, on the site where an older church used to stand. Some said that Apostle Paul once stopped here, on his way to Rome, to teach Christianity. It is next to Agios Ioannis beach so it is to go to for a brief visit.

Great Sunset between old windmills and time for some Kite Surfing !

A BLUE FLAG BEACH and a center of wind and kite surfing. My perfect place for Swimmig , walking , jogging. The old windmills being renovated is a 'must' to enjoy the most beautiful sunset .Coffee - ice-cream - drinks available the there.
