Either take the funicular railway from Rock-a-Nore Road (recommended) or the steps. Wide open views over the Old Town and beyond and great walks eastwards towards Fairlight, Pete Level and even Rye if you're feeling very energetic.

Scenic area with a funicular ride to a clifftop with sweeping vistas to the coast & English Channel. Lovely spots to picnic, or try out the local cafes such as the Bale House - the first public straw bale building constructed in Hastings.

Our local area of outstanding natural beauty. The east hill is a must see for all nature lovers. Spend half a day walking up and down, through the glens with some magnificent sights.
