El Teatro de la Maestranza de Sevilla es obra de los arquitectos Aurelio del Pozo y Luis Marín. Fue inaugurado en 1991. Está ubicado junto a la Torre del Oro y a la Plaza de toros de la Real Maestranza, cerca del río Guadalquivir. The Teatro de la Maestranza is an opera house located in Seville, Spain.[1] The theatre was conceived to be one of the main cultural venues of the Seville Expo '92,[3] and the first performance took place in 1991, shortly before the inauguration of the International Expo. The theatre was re-refurnished in 2005.[3] Although the Teatro de la Maestranza is mainly devoted to opera,[1] there are also performances of Zarzuela (Spanish operetta) and other musical performances.[1]
