if you're looking for vegan food, great drinks and the best playlist around THIS is the place. Life on mars is co-owned by Seattle radio legend John Richards and boasts an extensive record collection. Their cocktails and cauliflower wings are also to die for!

A great vegan spot on the Hill with a twist: a vinyl collection supplies the music! DJ John Richards of our local, but world-famous, KEXP is a partner on this venture. He is also a vegan. They are super serious about only having vegan food in the place so don’t bring in cupcakes from outside for a birthday, for example. Their brunch is good, but they’re also good for late night eats.

Awesome bar and restaurant in the heart of Capitol Hill. Co-owned by Seattle music advocates and supporters. The bar features a full wall of vinyl that you can pick out a selection from and ask the staff to play on the turntable. They also host a number of local events from band appearances to political debates. The menu has some of the tastiest plant-based creations in the city.
