Founded in 1788, this is the oldest library in Belfast and the only remaining library in Ireland that still generates a proportion of its income from membership. Founded in 1788, it is the oldest library in Belfast. Contains Irish and Local Studies Collections and is home to a unique collection of books by and about CS Lewis. Free entry and has coffee house.

A beautiful and historic library. Unique to Belfast and full of wonderful artefacts. There's a cafe.
