The Treaty Oak is an octopus-like Southern live oak in Jacksonville, Florida. The tree is estimated to be 250 years old and may be the single oldest living thing in Jacksonville, predating the founding of the city by Isaiah Hart during the 1820s.
The coolest BIGGEST tree I have ever seen in my life. It's downtown so not convenient (not near the beach) and if you happen to go downtown, stop by for an awe-inspiring view.
This oak tree is HUGE and located downtown. It is so beautiful even in the winter. Short drive from the airbnb. Stop by Treaty Oak before grabbing dinner at BB's! Side note: we took some of our wedding pictures here!
