Jacksonville’s funkiest neighborhood! Great local shops, businesses and restaurants abound in Riverside. Check out the Cummer Museum and Memorial Park.
There are too many fantastic places to eat in the Riverside/ San Marco area. Orsay, Brick, Chop House, Moss Fire Grill, Hoptingers, Hawkers... just to name a few.
Ortega, Riverside & Avondale are the three main historical areas with a variety of shops, good eats, and parks to explore.
This is one of our favorite places to just walk and see what we happen upon. The area is very artsy and eccentric. It has a mixture of vintage/historical and modern. You can browse a vintage "junk" store, end up at a local restaurant, the Cummer Museum or the river. We always enjoy our time…

“New but solid food choices. Burger is really good. They mix up their menu a lot too, with local meats and veggies usually. Getting started with their own beer.”

“Craft brewery with more solidified flavors, especially around strong ales. Personally our favorite because the beer is done well.”
