Downtown Overland Park has recently been renovated, and it looks amazing. You can find many restaurants, shops, and services. If it's summer time, every Saturday morning they hold a huge Farmer's Market with crazy cheap produce and flowers. It's fun to walk through and listen to the live music. There are bars, restaurants, bakeries, and a delicious pizza shop called Papa Keno's. The third Friday of each month, they have a big event where shops have special sales and sometimes offer drinks for sampling. It's a great time to people watch!

Just on the other side of I35, this trendy downtown area provides lots of boutique shopping, restaurants and coffee shops.
