If you love music and will be in Dublin any Tuesday, I'd say that is the place you should go! All Tuesday many guys go there to play ukulele! Believe it is the most beautiful thing that I saw.

Est 1780s Great pub, great pints, great food, great craic. You truly capture a sense of the hidden Ireland when you accidentally stumble upon The Stag’s Head. Finding it is akin to discovering a rare treasure as it is concealed through a narrow passageway off Dame Street, although access can also be…

Great traditional lively bar. Lots of good bars around this bar too on Dame court. Good buzz when the weather is good. Highly recommend their free comedy on a Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night from 8.15pm

The Stags Head dates back a few centuries, but was rebuilt in 1895 by the architect, A.J McLoughlin. A veritable shrine to the art of drink, McLoughlin designed the bar with stag themed stained glass windows, mirrors, wood panelling and of course a large stag's head over the bar. This lavishly…

Pub
“One of the oldest pubs in Dublin, this pub was named after a chapel dedicated to Saint George in 1181. The Long Hall preserves a Victorian atmosphere evoking a by-gone age. The original pub which backs on to Dublin Castle opened in the 1860's and was much used by the Fenians. Today, The Long Hall retains much of its old charm; on the walls are engravings of the dealings of the Russian Emperor Paul I with the Polish patriot Kosiusko as well as prints of Gainsborough ladies. Over the entrance to the toilets are panels of art nouveau glass. The woodwork interior adds an air of authenticity to the premises.”

“Cannot be missed. Hire bikes from the park entrance of the Dublin Bike scheme from in front of Kilmainham Gaol (credit card required, €5 for 3 days). Park is vast and features Dublin Zoo, Stately homes and beautiful tea shops. Full of beautiful wild deer. 20 minutes walk from house. ”

“15 William St S - a Dublin institution with arguably the best pint of Guinness in the city. It’s a combination of an old man pub & a hipster joint and you can find half of Dublin sitting outside on a sunny day sipping their pints of plain and enjoying a classic ham and cheese toastie.”

“French inspired bistro style restaurant. Nice vibe to the place and usually busy. They also service brunch and lunch. Pop upstairs to the "Bar With No Name" for an after dinner pint”
