Pico do Arieiro, 1818 meters high, is the third highest peak on the Island, after the Ruivo Peak and Pico das Torres. Beautiful views. And for those who like hiking is an excellent option.

Sunrise or sunset? You choose... best spot for any of them. Amazing views, not to talk about the sky colours at sunrise or sunset.

Good views but a hard work for the no to active person. Breath taking views. Do not go without a tour guide booking at local tourist offices in and around Funchal.

A must do as one of the highest spots on the island to just appreciate the vastness of the mountains and sit above the clouds. TIP: I recommend going early morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the bigger crowds, Sit up on the height marker and just take it all in.
