20 minute walk just north of here! This 222-acre city park oasis with picnic areas, a lagoon, boat house, paddle boats, swimming pool, nature trail, urban fishing and two golf courses with modest fees. Great spot for a picnic, they have an amusement park for kids with a carousel, be sure to check for times, in the summer months opens in evening.

Beautiful park with a lake, trails and lots of other cool historic things to do. My dad tells me stories of when he would come here in the 50s and what a fancy place it was. Unique park to hang out in, play on the grass, take walks or picnics.

Great walking area around a large lake with ducks and geese. Also, parrots frequent the area.
