Art museum with paintings by Munch, Astrup, Dahl & other Norwegians, plus work by Picasso.
Paintings and other works from the artist Nikolai Astrup. Walk among art from 1400 - 1900 in the second floor. An incredible cool art museum in the first floor for kids: KunstLab. Also a neet small shop, and a restaurant I with great ratings.
Besides housing great art, KODE is home to one the best hangouts for kids. At KODE 4 they have made a universe for children, with wonderful artworks and interesting toys to explore. During weekends they often have "artlab" where both young and old can get creative and create art themselves.
One of four museum buildings in the KODE-series. Great contemporary art by Norwegian, as well as international artists. Check out their web-page for info on exhibitions during your stay.
