This preserve contains 100 acres of recreational fun. The parking area was just below a quiet and serene lake which feeds these world class rapids. Great for a walk or kayaking. There is a viewing area for part of the rapids and picnic tables. Also trails are located on both sides of this run for taking in the beautiful scenery. If you're lucky, you'll see people in wet suits kayaking the rapids.

The Whitewater Preserve is a man made river for white water enthusiasts. Watch the kayakers and canoers go up and down the river or try it out for yourself with Algonquin Outfitters! Book a lesson online and an instructor will show you the ropes!
