Located in the old Engine House on the edge of York’s Museum Gardens, close to the historic Lendal Bridge and Tower, The Star Inn has an enviable riverside position. Local, seasonal produce used, if you are looking for a somewhere special then this is a great choice. Ask for riverside view when you call to book. It also has a great deck to pop in for a coffee in the daytime.

Great for a special occasion but book early if you want to grab a table on a weekend! Good for watching the world go by in the daytime. Great food and drink. It’s won multiple awards and features in various good eating guides, including the Michelin Guide.
