Best Semolina Qassatat in town, and bustling at 9 to 11am. Come for your morning coffee and catch up on the gossip. Quirky gift shops but avoid the church bells at noon. SG Basilica is a must see.

Popular with locals, serves the best pastizzi (traditional pastry filled with cheese or peas) on the island. Also try the delicious ftira (a flatter pastry base with tomato, olives and herbs), and qassatet (ricotta pies). You'll have to be quick though as many are gone by mid-morning! Closes for the afternoon then reopens as a bar at night.

It is right in the middle of the capital, Victoria surrounded by a maze of charming old narrow streets and alleys. It is one of the most important churches in Gozo!
