Geographer Café is an award-winning, corner lot pub with lots of flair for a Malaccan nightlife joint. Plenty of greenery, a trendy bar that dominates the interior, high tables and chairs and has been attracting a steady clientele for years.

Einkaufszentrum
“Even though it is a mall, it is more than a mall as there are arcades and a movie theater located inside the mall. During rainy days or when you just want to escape from the heat for a while, this is a good place to grab food and do some shopping. There is also an underground section for shops selling locally-made items and souvenirs. ”

Establishment
“Hard Rock Cafe Melaka was designed to match the old charm of Melaka with the state of the art building and architecture. It is a comfortable dining area overlooking the infamous Dutch Square. Looking through the bar and out onto the river, what a view of the historical fort and church. The live band makes the atmosphere really nice. Service is attentive and food is served fast, true to their Hard Rock spirit.”

“This is an interesting hill with history of the Portuguese and the Dutch. The ruins of the church are impressive and there is a sense of history and loss glory that oozes from the scene. You will find there a lot of tombstones; dating back to 1650s. This old church is very well taken care off and even the statue of St Francis Xavier as had his arm chopped off. The church offers breathtaking view of the Melaka city. The best view point is where the monument of St. Paul is located. The never ending skyline can be viewed from the edge of the view point which is circled with railings.”

Flea Market
“Jonker Street is definitely a shopping hotspot crowded by the tourists and locals alike. Besides some of the most beautiful antiques, you can also find locally-made products. The street is closed off for traffic on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the evening to turn into a very crowded night market. Open until 12 midnight, you will like all people beginning to prepare the sales of over a thousand products you can buy there. Food, hats, electronics, ice creams, drinks of all kinds, children stuff and most importantly local food. Highly recommend to anyone who visit Melaka Operation Hour: 5PM to 12AM Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday”
