In Livorno we call the Central Market "our Louvre" because it is a beatuful art nouveau building. The same architect who built the marker in Florence. The difference is that in Florence they ruined it, making a second floor with expensive restaurants. In Livorno this place is the market where you go grocery shopping because you will find the best quality products for a reasonable price!

Our central market is amazing. The covered market is a beautiful structure and a historical landmark. The open-air section has everything from food to clothing to housewares.
