A beautiful scenic park surrounds this fairy-tale, neo-Gothic Castle, perched over the horizon of the sea. The complex houses the Museo delle Culture del Mondo (Museum of World Cultures). The park can be reached from the historic centre by bus number 33.

The home of a captain, explorer and ethnologist. Wanderful view over the port. Original interiors, collections of tribal art collected in expeditions around the world, nice coffee overlooking the town. Near Principe Station (take the horizontal-vertical public elevator).

This was the Captain Enrico Alberto D’Albertis Castle, who traveled across land and sea, wanted to include the experiences of his travels in this romantic residence, now full of “rooms of wonder” and his collection of colonial trophies.

D'Albertis Castle is a historical residence in Genoa. It was the home of sea captain Enrico Alberto d'Albertis, and was donated to the city of Genoa on his death in 1932. It currently houses the Museo delle Culture del Mondo (Museum of World Cultures), inaugurated in 2004.

Nice castle that you can reach with the elevator (ascensore montagalletto), with a good view on the city and a very rich World cultures museum
