The Madonna Inn & Steakhouse opened in 1958 and serves as an iconic landmark for the central coast. Tour the grounds for beautiful photo ops and don’t forget to try a slice of their famous pink champagne cake!
This place isn't for everyone, but it's very eclectic and fun. It's also pretty historic. Make sure you check out the restrooms. There's a surprise in there.

“Avila Valley Barn 20 minute drive, 560 Avila Beach Drive. SEASONAL This is a great place to bring your young children - they can feed the animals, take a ride on a hay wagon, have a picnic, get ice cream, and enjoy fresh fruit, veggies and homemade pies. This is a really fun place- especially in the fall. A fun day would be walk/bike Bob Jones trail. Comes out at Avila Beach. Play on the beach and/or beach park. Finish the day with a visit to the Avila Valley Barn ”
