Best fish and chips on the island. If you are taking Vesuvius ferry, good place to go. Get in the lineup early, and have lunch or dinner while you wait for the ferry.

The Seaside Restaurant is located in Vesuvius Bay next to the Vesuvius Ferry Terminal on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada. We serve fresh local seafood, including Halibut, Salt Spring Island Mussels and Fanny Bay Oysters. We have crisp fresh salads, homemade burgers, pastas, steaks and local produce. We are open year round for lunch and dinner. We have a spectacular south west view of the calm waters of Samson Narrows. Our deck hangs over the bay and offers views of one of the warmest swimming beaches on Salt Spring Island the snow covered peaks of the hills surrounding Duncan on Vancouver Island the licensed deck is a great place to capture the sunset.
