Small two screen cinema showing both mainstream and not-so mainstream films, including a good choice of foreign language contemporary cinema. The Jute cafe serves up some delicious food either before or after the show.

DCA (Dundee Contemporary Arts) www.dca.org.uk Tel: 01382 909252. An excellent arts cinema showing British and foreign films. As well as arts films it does show select popular films often at a slightly later date. There is a lively bar and restaurant here as well. The thing here is that cinema going can be accompanied by a nice meal, some drinks and coffee rather than fizzy drinks and popcorn!

Dundee Contemporary Arts always referred to as The DCA situated in the city centre, is an Art Museum, a small 2 screen cinema and restaurant bar, the main open planned area has always a lively and buzzing atmosphere. The small 2 screen cinema is often a great opportunity to watch older classic movies on the big screen or some newer films often ones you won't find showing in the multiplexes.
