The food is pretty good but the reason you come here is the view. This restaurant sits right on Lake Merritt. The outdoor area is closed during the rainy season but they still have a gorgeous bar you can sit at and look out at the view.

Lake Chalet is on Lake Merritt and has a bar on a doc which extends out onto the lake with ample seating. Great for brunch, or a beer on a warm day.
