A Peckham institution, Sally Butcher runs the Persepolis shop, writes cookery books and also now cooks for the cafe inside the shop serving delicious food. Go for lunch and come out with an array of Persian goodies from the shop.

Persepolis is a vegetarian, middle eastern foodie haven. They sell every imaginable spice and ingredient, and have a small café where they serve recipes from their bestselling cookbooks. Persepolis and it's owners have been here for 20 years and are an absolute institution. Their food is cheap and the flavours authentic and amazing. We highly recommend dropping in at some point during your stay!
