A charming cafe and garden by the river. Stunning views, crazy golf, ice creams, and a putting green. This is also where you can catch the ferry to Mudeford Sandspit beach and bar, or hire self drive motor boats for some fun on the river. No advance booking needed.

This place is our very favourite. From here you can catch a ferry every 30 minutes in the summer to Hengisbury Head. You can get off in the middle of Christchurch. There are cream teas, crazy golf. The rose garden is a lovely place to have a cuppa and relax. There is boat hire for your own boat.

Tuckton Tea Gardens is a traditional cosy café set in beautiful gardens right beside the River Stour; where you can explore the stunning views of the river and Christchurch Priory. Offering river cruises and a frequent ferry service between Tuckton Tea Gardens, Wick Ferry, Christchurch Quay and Mudeford Sandbank for the beach and Hengistbury Head. Self-Drive Motor Boats are also available for hire at Wick Ferry & Christchurch Quay. Or if you prefer you can just sit back, relax and watch the boats & paddle boards go by and enjoy a range of delicious homemade cakes, soups & snacks or a New Forest ice cream!
