Beautiful park with lots of trails and botanical garden. Great in Spring and summer when everything is blooming.

Huge regional park system includes an arboretum, museum, log slide, petting zoo, gold panning, running / hiking trails, as well as open grass areas for kite flying and an off leash dog area.

Host to the Great Reno Balloon Races. Huge network of nature trails, wild life, museum, arboretum, sports areas. Also a great place to get in a workout.

Local park great for a short hike or taking the dogs. It has a huge grass dog park and hosts a number of community events like the annual hot air balloon race in September. If you go across the highway you can go on a longer ~3 mile hike or run up Evans Creek Canyon
