Breakfast in historical milky bar. Bar Prasowy is the oldest milky bar in Warsaw, located in the city center. Lately renovated, now is a hippie place, with lots of students & family atmosphere. Cheap prices, delicious food freshly made. For breakfast, try: breakfast set - scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, bread & coffee naleśniki z serem i sosem truskawkowym - pancakes with cottage cheese & strawberry sauce pierogi - many different stuffings, like cottage cheese&onion, meat, spinach or sweet version with fruit stuffing For lunch, try: zupa szczawiowa z jajkiem - sorrel soup with hard boiled egg barszcz czerwony - red beetroot soup kotlet schabowy - pork schnitzel kotlet mielony z burakami - minced pork cutlet with beetroot salad on the side placki ziemniaczane - potato pancakes

food wise, its not the best milk bar ever but it has an interesting story to it (it was once occupied and reclaimed by city activists). close to TR -- the best theater

It is a typical polish milk bar (bar mleczny), here you will find a wide range of homemade style polish dishes at very affordable prices, served in an authentic style there are a lot around town but this is the one I sincerely recommend, you'll find it packed with locals, open 7 days a week.

So called "Milk Bar" - traditional polish "canteen" from comunist times. Renovated with modern touch. Try: "kluski leniwe"
