Cute local breakfast establishment with a fun vibe and a creative menu that’s always deliciously prepared with love.
Excellent tiny brunch location. Perfect for small groups. Also perfect if you love cats, 'cause there's a ton of memorabilia.
We always went here when it was just a breakfast spot and it is so good. Skip waiting in line for the Flying Biscuit across the street that hasn't been delicious in 10 years and go here instead. It's better food and people.
Visit for breakfast and lunch and then come back on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for the incredible Thai-Georgian pop-up.
This tiny place is across from Flying Biscuit is one of the best-kept secrets in the city. The wait is usually a fraction as long as that at Flying Biscuit and the food a bazillion times better! This tiny Candler Park culinary incubator is currently home to three different restaurant concepts. Gato Cafe serves breakfast Thurs.-Sun., 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and covers the usual breakfast fare in addition to lunchtime sandwiches like burgers and Reubens. Dinnertime Tues.-Thurs., 7-11 p.m. is the real of chef Allen Suh’s Gato Arigato pop-up. Suh serves Japanese-inspired dishes such as ramen made completely from scratch. Chef Jarrett Stieber’s Eat Me Speak Me pop-up takes over the space Sun.-Mon.
