The famous Grand Anse Beach is a very short walk from the cottage. There is a short cut down to the start of the beach which stops you from having to walk along the road too long. Take a right out of the cul de sac and walk for 2 minutes down the road. Go past the 'D Favourite Spot' and you will find a steep foot path on your right. Head down the path and you hit the sea! From there you can walk along the beach past the Silver Sands Hotel and pick a spot along the huge beach. You can get a pretty good breakfast at 51 degrees west. The Spice Market is a good spot that has showers, toilets, parking, and a great little bar with the best pina coladas called Esthers. Sunbeds should be no more than $10 ECD

This beach is over a mile long, offering a relaxing walk or swim. Some shade trees are along the beach to sit under and there usually is little, if any, surf for swimmers. Take a towel and find your spot! You can walk into one of the resorts to have a good meal.
