This really surpassed our expectations. The story of the D Day landings is beautifully captured - you can walk into the bomb craters and shelters. Fantastic views too.

Unique amongst the Normandy D-day landings. Allied forces (American) had to scale cliffs to engage with occupying forces. Bomb craters can still be seen.

At 2 km from us, a visit to the Point gives you a great sense of the violence of the conflict as well as tells you the moving story of the Rangers who climbed the cliffs on D-Day morning to take the point. You can go in and out of bunkers, and kids always enjoying running around the site.
