Sacramento is home to more than 650 murals, and since 2016, the Wide Open Walls Mural festival has added to the number each year. Each August, local and international muralists converge on the city to paint murals throughout the region. Locals and visitors alike enjoy watching the artists as they paint the murals.

We highly recommend the Wide Open Walls Mural tour. The past three years 30+ artists from the USA & beyond have been invited annually to come and grace our city with their mural art. Go to www.wow916.com to download a map for a self guided tour. Or rent a couple Jump e-bikes to ride the downtown and midtown checking them out. It's fun finding them and choosing your favorites.
