Big Brook Dam is a wonderful place to go swimming, walking, kids riding their bikes, scooters, take the pram with a sealed 4.2 kilometre trail surrounding the dam. Picnic facilities, barbecues, picnic tables toilets and change rooms and two large shelters means any time of the year works. Bring your fishing rod and lures for fishing in season for trout, Redfin Perch and marron (freshwater crayfish). Permits required. The Bibbulmun Track passes on the southern side of the dam through Big Brook Arboretum and camping ground. Ride your mountain bike, run or bushwalk out to Big Brook Dam along the Rainbow Trail from Pemberton. Sealed vehicle access from Pemberton.

Feel like a bush walk or swim then this is the place to be. Pack up the car and head on down to Pemberton to check out this beauty. A great chance to give the kids and pets a good stretch.
