Very vivid place! One day, Rezo said that he wanted to open a theater cafe “not so people could eat, but so that one single coffee bean could be roasted all day long, filling the theater with its aroma”. And so, in 1996 a cozy café appeared in the theater. Its first name was “Don’t grieve!” and it is one of the few cafes in Tbilisi from that era that is still open. Today, in the theater Café Gabriadze there are four rooms and a summer terrace that looks out onto Rezo’s Clock Tower. Theater Cafe Gabriadze has always been a meeting place for the theater community and artists from around the world.

This cafe is a marvelous case of multifaceted expression of one's talent. Rezo Gabriadze, famous Georgian screenwriter, painter, sculptor and puppeteer, made all the details of his cafe by himself, investing not just his time and talent, but also his soul in it and this is the thing you feel. The interior is so awesome that you can spend a lot of time not eating, but looking around. The food is very delicious. Every hour at the clock tower appears the angel counting the hours. His "working time" is from 10 till 18. Don't miss it!
