Outstanding CCC-built trail of 1.5 miles featuring moderate changes in elevation. Climb limestone buttes (yes, in Louisiana!) for beautiful overviews of the surrounding forest. Then, descend into bottomlands for a change of flora. Swallow water crossings. Check out the Backbone Trail for a more challenging hike.
