40 mins outside of Stowe situated on Lake Champlain, it is the heart of a small urban area that acts as Vermont's vibrant and cosmopolitan center. Head over to Church St. Marketplace to check out the various stores and places to eat.

A great day trip for those who love shopping, eating, and sightseeing! Easiest to take the Grand-Isle Ferry, and is roughly a 45-minute trip. Church Street is a must-visit if you plan on heading over to Burlington!

Burlington is the largest city in Vermont, about a 45 minute drive from Northfield. There are great local shops and restaurants and beautiful views of Lake Champlain.
