Cork is very proud of this beautiful University which hosts students from all over the world. Walking tours are available or just meander around the grounds and don't forget to visit the beautiful church on campus.

Only a 10 minute walk from the city centre to the heart of the university, Stroll around the quadrangle, through the main building where a visitors centre is located on the ''stone corridor'' with ancient celtic Ogham Stones.. (book a fab tour if you can...so informative and so cheap) Go visit the Honan Chapel , with it's beautiful celtic carvings, stained glass windows and mosaic floors. Enjoy the beautiful grounds of the campus...it's all free and a wonderful place If you have heard of Boolean Allegera , the basis of computer language, you may know of George Boole who was professor of mathematics way back in the 1850's.
