It has a huge indoor pool which is fun in Winter for the kids. It also has a gym and fitness classes. The free disc golf course starts here.

Farther away and a tad bit more expensive than the Truckee's Community Pool, it has a number of activities for the kids at a discounted fee and a shop if you need some additional gear.

Café
“If you need your Starbucks coffee, it's not far away, located in the Village at Squaw Valley, and a short drive away, or walk there from the Resort and get in your daily dose of exercise and steps.”

Mini-Markt
“Sometimes, you just need a quick dessert or you forgot to buy milk. Yet you don't want to do the drive to Truckee or Tahoe City. Walk, bike or drive here to get it instead.”

Natural Feature
“The second of the two private beaches you get access to as my guest. You have to stop by the Recreation Center will call desk to pick up the tickets I'll arrange for you. Then you go to the beach kiosk to pay the daily fee ($15 for adults, $6 for kids 6-17, kids 5 and under free). This beach does not have pool, but it's better for wading in the lake in bare feet (Burnt Cedar Beach's wading area is rocky). Also, you can launch a boat here if you pay the $18 fee and get the inspection done offsite (google that, it's a bit of a pain but worth it if you have a boat).”
