Open for summer hiking and winter skiing, tubing, sledding with stunning views of the city. Winter: ticket reservations are required and snow tires are required on cars. Parking is free, but tends to full/ sold out on weekends if you are not pre booked with tickets. Summer: parking is free, be Bear Aware (bells and spray highly suggested) and bring bug spray. This is true back country despite ease of access, so bring water, warm clothes and ensure someone knows your route. Mountain biking is on trails accessed from the road and Mushroom Parking lot up Old Buck trail. Details on trails and access are found at nsmba. ca

An intermediate level trail. Please be safe, prepared and don't go off trail! I can't stress this enough. Great trail to hike. A guy camped at the top in the snow one time. However, that's forbidden and dangerous... One of Vancouver's iconic mountains in the summer! This is a 5 hour hike. So, be prepared.

Great views all year - hiking in summer, skiing and snowshoeing in winter.

An 11 km drive from our door takes you to the top of Mount Seymour where you will experience panoramic views of Vancouver. Here, you have several hikes to lakes and peaks in the summer, or skiing and snowshoeing in a winter wonderland. For hiking, Dog mountain is not very difficult and you are rewarded with a nice view of the City. Mystery Lake has a bit more vertical but also not too difficult. First, Second and Third Peak are more challenging, but beautiful views if you are up for it.
