The Funk Zone is THE hot spot of Santa Barbara at the moment. It's full of wine tasting rooms, restaurants, a few bars, and a brewery (Fig Mountain). Some of my favorite wineries are Kunin Wines, Lafond, and Riverbench. The Zone is just about a block from the beach! Wineries normally close around 6 p.m. during the off-season and around 7 p.m. during the summer months.

Olie enjoying happy hour on St Patrick’s Day at Shalhoob patio. Great food specials and tasty beers brewed there. Happy hour special- a handheld and a beer for $15.00

Head to the funk zone for an afternoon of foodie heaven and wine wasting - rent a bike and take the bike path to montecito (about 20 min ride) and land at one of the best beaches in Santa barbara - butterfly beach.
